Setlist: Portugal. The Man, Portland

Crystal Ballroom, Portland
Thursday, July 18th, 2013

This was a difficult setlist to track, because Portugal. The Man likes to mix in other artist's songs, blend one song into another, and play medleys of various songs. Luckily I am well versed in hip hop and classic rock, so I was able to peg most of the cover snippets. If anything, this setlist will be difficult to cut and past into setlist.fm.

1. Purple Yellow Red and Blue
2. All Your Light (Extended jam mixed with Ghostface Killah's "Kilo")
3. Evil Friends
4. (Extended intro of Dayman into...) So American
5. People Say
6. Guns and Dogs (mixed with Kanye West's "Power")
7. Atomic Man
8. The Sun (blending into...)
9. Senseless (blending into...)
10. Sea Of Air
11. Modern Jesus
12. Got It All (blending into...)
13. When The War Ends (mixed with the Beatles "Don't Let Me Down")
14. Hip Hop Kids
15. Creep in a T-Shirt (blending into...)
16. Someday Believers
17. Purple Yellow Red and Blue (Yes, again)

Encore:
18. The Devil (mixed with the Beatles "Helter Skelter")
19. Sleep Forever (mixed with the Beatles "Hey Jude")

Cake At The Doug Fir For Face Value ($40)

Actually, face value is $39.50, but after fees, the ticket was more like $46. Either way, I'm selling it for $40. If you are a giant Cake fan, and want to attend, send me an email. You must convince me you are not a scalper. Cake sold out Edgefield (capacity 5,000) last year, so playing a venue with a capacity under 400 is pretty huge. I'm not risking selling this ticket to someone who will turn around and sell it for a profit. I might even require you to enter the venue with me, just so I know you aren't a scalper. I haven't decided yet. It depends on how comfortable I am with the replies.

And no, "is the ticket still available?" and "I'll take it, woohoo" doesn't convince me you aren't a scalper. Some people are so comically dumb. You don't need to write a book either. It's actually pretty easy to convince me you're legit. Email me at knowidyuh@gmail.com. I'll leave this add up for a couple days before I respond to the winner, just so I can fuck with the scalpers charging a shit ton for these tickets, but also so the real non-scalping Cake fans have an opportunity to reply.

The show is Tuesday, May 28th.

MGMT Ticket(s) For Face Value ($30)

I have at least one extra ticket to MGMT at the Crystal Ballroom Thursday night. I'm selling it for face value, which is $30 (I'll pay the fees). This sold out in a couple minutes, so hopefully everyone reading this knows there are people out there who are not looking to screw you out of a couple bucks. Email me at knowidyuh@gmail.com. I'm not interested in selling this ticket to a scumbag who will turn around sell it for $80, so convince me you are a legit person interested in going to the show, and I'll get back to the person I feel most comfortable selling it to. You have to be willing to pick up the ticket near China Town (Downtown) in the early evening Tuesday, Wednesday, or the night of the show. If the add is still up on Craigslist, it's because I haven't decided who to sell the ticket(s) to. Here's my middle finger scalpers.
